This is a one-person studio site. Here is exactly what it collects, why, and how to get it removed. Short version: I collect the minimum, I do not sell or share it for marketing, and you can ask me to delete it any time.

What I collect, and when

  • Contact form (homepage). Your name, email, the service you pick, your message, and which page you wrote from.
  • Retainer form. Your name, email, WhatsApp number, the plan you pick, and your message.
  • Tulip, the chat assistant. What you type in the chat, which page you were on, the country your connection comes from, and a random session id that holds the conversation together. If you give your name and email so I can reply, they are kept with that conversation and emailed to me. Tulip is an AI assistant: its answers are generated automatically from this site's content and can contain mistakes, so any price, timeline or availability it gives you is confirmed by me before it counts.
  • Booking a call. Your name, your email, the time you pick and anything you add in the note. The call goes into my Google Calendar as an event with you as the guest, so you receive Google's invite with the Meet link, and a confirmation email from me.
  • Newsletter popup. Your email address only. It is double opt-in: nothing is saved to the list until you click the confirmation link in the email.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics 4 records anonymous usage: pages viewed, device and browser type, country, and how you arrived. It sets cookies to tell returning visits apart. IP anonymisation is on and advertising features are off, so it is not used to build ad profiles.

The chat keeps your conversation in your own browser until you close the tab, and remembers that you have seen its little intro bubble. That part never leaves your device. I do not run ads, trackers for ad networks, or social pixels on this site.

Why

To reply to your enquiry, to answer your questions about the work when I am not at my desk, to book the call you asked for, to send the design emails you subscribed to, and to see which pages people actually read so I can improve them. Nothing else.

Who handles it

Form submissions, chat conversations, leads and booking records are stored by Netlify (my hosting) and emailed to me. The chat's replies are generated by Anthropic: what you type is sent to their service to produce the answer, under commercial terms that do not allow them to train on it. Calls live in my Google Workspace calendar, and Google sends the invite. Confirmation and notification emails go out through Resend. The newsletter list lives in Kit. Analytics is Google.

Each of these processes data on my behalf under its own privacy policy: Netlify, Anthropic, Google, Resend, Kit. They are based in the United States, so your data is processed there under their standard safeguards. I do not sell your information or pass it to anyone else.

How long I keep it

Form messages and chat conversations: until you ask me to delete them, or until I clear them myself; they are not deleted automatically. Calls: the event stays in my calendar like any appointment. Newsletter address: until you unsubscribe. Analytics: Google keeps event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for up to 14 months, then deletes it; only aggregate reports remain.

Your choices

  • You can read the whole site and book a call without ever opening the chat.
  • Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link. One click, you are off the list.
  • Email me and I will tell you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it, including a chat conversation: tell me roughly when you chatted and I will find it. I reply within a few days.
  • You can block or clear cookies in your browser, or use Google's opt-out add-on. The site works fine without them.
  • If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. I would rather you wrote to me first so I can fix it.
