about this project
The project turned a waste-focused message into a cleaner digital experience built around awareness, action, and impact: a website for a United States sustainability and waste recycling company, designed and delivered in one week.
The page carries two audiences without splitting in half. A resident lands on "a greener world for everyone, thanks to you" and can book a pickup or find a drop-off; an investor follows the same scroll into the capital raise. Both paths are offered from the hero, so nobody has to guess which half of the page is for them.
The argument is built on the client's own numbers rather than green sentiment. Recycling is called a feel-good lie, because 91% of plastics never get recycled and 33.7 million tons are left to rot in landfills every year. Urban Reblok'd takes any and all plastics, sorts them, and runs what is left through a granulator into mulch for building materials, with curbside pickup and drop-off priced openly: $25 a drop-off, $50 to $100 a month for pickups in Roanoke.
The investor half is the same story told in figures. A $300K to $400K a year recycling business built from scratch to 100+ clients with no advertising, prototyped modular blocks, a chemical-free process, validated supply and signed partnerships, then the ask: $10 million to launch the first recycling hub, revenue by month 7, paying for itself from year 2, and a model to scale 15x across the US.
The result transforms complex services into a cleaner digital experience, stronger user journeys, and more confident customer actions.
